Introduction to Coding with Python

Adults and Students in Grades 9 and up, limited spots
Join us for a three week introduction to coding with Python! No coding experience is required. Registration is required and attendance is expected at all sessions.  Laptops will be provided.

Celebrate Take Your Child to the Library! with the Yo-Yo Show
Saturday, February 1 | 2 pm, ages 4 and up
 
Join us for an interactive family comedy show featuring the “Yo-Yo Guy” John Higby as he performs amazing yo-yo tricks, including walking on a giant yo-yo. He has performed internationally and holds four Guinness World Records. 

 International Space Station Program
Tuesday, Feb. 18,  | 10:00 am -1:00 pm
Rocky Hill Senior/Community Center, Room 1
The crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) will view 25 pre-recorded questions asked by students in our community.  We will watch the astronauts answer those questions live from the ISS! We'll learn about life on the space station and enjoy a presentation form The Greater Hartford Astronomical Society.
