Library Card Design Contest
The Rocky Hill Library is running an art contest to select a limited-edition design for our library cards! The winner’s artwork will be featured on a new limited-edition library card available in January 2025. 
 
Participants are encouraged to submit their best designs highlighting what they enjoy about the Rocky Hill Library and its services. The deadline for entering the contest is Saturday, November 30.

Connecticut’s Involvement in the Civil War
Monday, 10/21 | 7 pm
Following the monthly Friends of the Rocky Hill Library meeting, guest speaker and Civil War reenactor from the New England Civil War Museum, Frank Niederwerfer, will come in uniform and will give a talk about Connecticut's involvement in the Civil War. 
Held at the Rocky Hill Community/Senior Center.

Mohegan Tribe: Culture and History
Saturday, 10/19 | 2 pm
Join us for a special presentation by an outreach and traditions specialist from the Mohegan Tribe. The presentation will include oral traditions, beliefs, music and sacred practices. This may include a tribal welcome ceremony, artifacts and a woodland flute performance. This program is recommended for adults and families with children age 4 and older. Registration is required.

The Paranormal Experience: An Evening with Joe Franke
Wednesday 10/30 | 6 pm
Paranormal expert Joe Franke has honed his skills for over three decades with Ed and Lorraine Warren. He will discuss past and current cases of real-life hauntings, poltergeist activity and demonic infestation and the dangers and misconceptions of the paranormal realm. 

Coffee, Coloring & Conversations
Saturdays, Oct 19 & Nov 16 | 10 am - 12:30 pm
Join us and de-stress at the Rocky Hill Library with coloring and coffee. Colored pencils, crayons, coloring sheets, and coffee will be provided. Registration not required, but recommended.
