Learn about Washington's hummingbirds!
Hummingbirds captivate us all with their beauty, and you may have found yourself wondering how to attract them to your space or help them flourish. Join Brian Zinke, executive director of the Pilchuck Audubon Society, for a presentation about our local hummingbirds. Thursday, March 6, 5:30 p.m. at the Main Library. No sign-up required.

Time for our first plant class of the year!
Hummingbirds like nectar, and carnivorous plants like BUGS. Learn more about endlessly fascinating carnivorous plants at this presentation by Laura Cooper, Master Gardener with WSU Extension Snohomish County. You'll discover how these plants grow and catch insects — then learn how to display and care for them yourself. Saturday, March 8, 2 p.m. at the Main Library.

Gardening classes are sponsored by our Un-Bee-Leafable Seed Library. Pssst: we've begun stocking our seed libraries with early-season seeds! Find out more info at epls.org/SeedLibrary.
