Family Storytime with EarlyON

Interact with your little one as they listen to stories and rhymes, create and explore all our play and learn stations. For ages 0-6 together with their caregiver. No registration required. No program on Monday, May 19.

Teen Night At the Library: Paint Night

Marble Run Madness

Experience the thrill of wild designs! Bring your friends, and challenge yourself to build the biggest, best and most original marble runs with our Gravitrax and Gravity Maze kits. Ages 8+. Registration required. Please register online or by calling the library at 519-866-3584.

Are you interested in starting a native garden or pollinator garden but don't know where to start?  Our local naturalist group, Otter Valley Naturalists, will have members on hand to give guided tours of the native plant gardens they recently installed at the Straffordville Library. A great opportunity to get a first-hand look at plants suitable for our area, enjoy some light refreshments and ask any questions you may have.  Choose the date most convenient for you! All ages. No registration required. 

Junk Journaling: Creative Keepsakes from Everyday Things 
Tuesday, May 27 
6:30-7:30pm 
Learn how to transform everyday paper scraps into creative, meaningful journal pages. We’ll cover simple techniques for layering, layout and design using a variety of materials. All materials provided, but feel free to bring your own stash to swap or share! Registration required. Please register online or call the library at 519-866-3584.
