Mobile Delivery for Homebound Patrons
Elgin County Library in partnership with the West Elgin Community Health Centre (WECHC) and VON Canada offers Books 2 Go, a FREE service that delivers library materials to those in need.  
Who is eligible?  
  • Seniors 55 years of age or older
  • Adults with a disability age 18+
  • Those who are temporarily homebound and requiring support due to injury or illness.

Check out what all the fun is about!  Pick up a Take and Make kit in branch while supplies last and find crafty materials inside to create and play!
 

STEAM Maker Kit
What? How? Why? Who?  Want to learn more? Further your investigations into Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math with a STEAM Maker Kit! Try out a new project every month! Geared for children ages 8-12.  Each kit includes all the materials to carry out the project, as well as a STEAM guide with  instructions, questions and resources to keep the learning going!
Upcoming projects include Ramp Walkers in June, Sundials in July & Parachutes in August. 
Bonus: Everyone who signs up for Summer Reading Club will receive the Sundial Maker Kit!
