Please join us for a book reading and discussion of Shadows of Gaza: Stories I Couldn't Let Die, by Salem Medhat Alaydi, a Gaza resident and relative of Dr. Rolla Alaydi. Light refreshments will be provided. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Registration is recommended, and walk-ins are welcome.

Play Mahjong with fellow enthusiasts! Beginners welcome with weekly Hong Kong Style lessons. Other styles offered too.

Creativity Lab- Arts & Crafts for Teens and Tweens
 
In conjunction with Scotts Valley Branch Library's Game Zone program, we are offering a new arts and crafts program led by volunteer Grace Chicoine. Aimed at the tweens and teens coming to the library on early out days, Grace offers a variety of activities, including zentangle, collaging, jewelry making and much more!

It outlines your personal & medical choices & names an advocate to speak for you if you cant speak for yourself. We'll walk you through it!

Determining a DNA Match Connection
 
This presentation will outline some strategies that DNA testers might use to help determine the identity of a DNA match. Identifying who our DNA matches are can enable us to discover where we connect with our DNA cousins, or at least get us closer to the answer.

Writing Group for 55+ at
Garfield Park
A writing workshop with the over 55 age group to reflect on our awareness of the natural environment and climate change. This activity encourages community, socialization, and creativity among the older age group who may be at higher risk for isolation and mental health.
