Slim Chance Circus
 
Hilarious and inspiring family entertainment, Slim Chance Circus is the perfect blend of thrills and skills to delight audiences of all ages. This show combines classic circus, vaudeville, and slapstick comedy into a multitude of magical moments and surprises.
 

Jake Higgins Art Show Reception
 
Born to two intellectually curious architects in mid twentieth century Houston, Texas, Jake Higgins was raised in a home with an extensive art library and granted an opportunity to explore many various artistic media at the Museum of Fine Art from the age of twelve until eighteen. He now paints fulltime in his Scotts Valley studio in both figurative and purely abstract styles. Jake Higgins’s paintings will be on view at the Scotts Valley Library from June 30th through September 28th.
Fratello Marionettes
 
The Fratello Marionettes has produced timeless marionette shows since 1989. Puppeteer Kevin Menegus brings classic stories and vignettes to life through hand-crafted marionettes.

Westside Author Talk with Rosemary Hayward
 
Rosemary Hayward was born in Hertfordshire, England and now lives in Santa Cruz, California, with a second home in Seville, Spain. In between she has lived and worked in Oxford, Nottingham, London and Reading. Oxford is the setting for much of the story of Margaret Leaving, her first novel, and Nottingham and Reading are the homes of characters in the Loxley Hall Books: Strait Lace and Crocus Fields.

 Have you ever wanted to learn how to create your own 3D printable designs?  Join us to learn the art of 3D designing in a collaborative atmosphere of your peers. Once finished, designs will be printed and available for the designer at the next meeting.

A few artfully arranged plants tucked into containers or small spaces can create a colorful and inviting garden space.  Join Master Gardener volunteers as we share tips and techniques for starting and maintaining small, colorful gardens.

Celebrating Queer History:
The Lavender Reader
 
Santa Cruz Public Libraries welcomes the editors of The Lavender Reader, a local quarterly LGBT magazine published from 1986 to 1998.
Join Scotty Brookie, Sarah-Hope Parmeter, and Jo Kenny as they recollect and celebrate queer life and culture in Santa Cruz in times past. Refreshments will be served and merriment will be had.
