The Community Library Network is not just an information marketplace but also a hub for creativity. Our programs focus on various types of literacy; however, we consider the arts a fundamental part of our mission to empower discovery. Our amazing programming staff have prioritized creativity in our youth and adult programming to inspire active participation in the artistic and creative process for all ages. This summer, the CLN is delighted to bring to the community COLOR OUR WORLD—the 2025 Summer Reading Program theme. The Summer Reading Program is a fantastic way to enhance your summer experience. It is also a vital means for parents and students to reduce summer learning loss. As you peruse the guidebook, you will see the wonderful opportunities available at your local library for celebrating how art and creativity can enrich our lives and our community. Programming staff have created a full spectrum of programs to inspire the artists in all of us. I invite you to connect with the Community Library Network this summer to discover how to add a little color to your lifelong learning. -Martin Walters
