2025 marks the final year of the Community Library Network’s current Strategic Plan. As the goals of this plan are assessed, we also begin developing our vision for the future. A library can be many things for its patrons—a partner with local businesses, a hub for community information, and a welcoming gathering space for all. It can promote the arts, support school students, and provide life-long educational resources for all ages. Throughout the centuries, libraries have adapted to provide the communities they served with the best possible access to the information marketplace of the time. The CLN is committed to fulfilling its core mission of being a neutral and balanced information hub in the community; however, we are also interested in knowing what the residents in each of our communities specifically envision as their ideal public library. Please stay tuned throughout 2025 for opportunities to make your voice count toward the CLN’s next Strategic Plan.

Mental Health Literacy

Mental health literacy in its basic form is the knowledge of mental health issues and the ability to learn more about them. With a broader look mental health literacy is learning how to best take care of ourselves, our family, our close friends and our community.
