February is packed with library-focused celebrations, from Take Your Child to the Library Day (February 7) and World Read Aloud Day (February 4) to International Book Giving Day and Library Lovers' Day (both February 14). Libraries play an important role in their communities through programs, digital resources, and community outreach. Join us for one of many family-friendly programs this month at your local library.
 
Please make note we will be closed Monday, February 16, for

Join us for a Valentine's Day Adult & Teen Rock Painting class! Painting rocks for Valentine’s Day is a fun way to spread a little love and kindness. Turn rocks into mini love notes! They make great gifts and are guaranteed to bring a smile to your favorite people. All materials will be provided.
For adults and teens, ages 11 and older.

Stop by the library to celebrate the Chinese New Year! We will be sampling fried rice, Chinese dumplings & fortune cookies, making traditional dragon puppets, engaging in a scavenger hunt, and trying our hand at fortune telling.

Kindergarten Bootcamp
Kindergarten Boot Camp is designed to provide parents and care-providers with hands-on experiences, based on developmental stages, so their child enters kindergarten ready to learn.
Through engaging, hands-on activities, from playing with tongs, to learn how to hold a pencil, to sorting objects by shape and color, to growing numeracy skills, this program will help children and parents prepare their child for kindergarten success. This program is offered through a grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries.
