Looking for something fun to do this summer? Are you going into 7th-12th grade in the fall? Would you like to assist with children and teen programs? Stamps Around the World
Did you know on May 1, 1840, the Penny Black, the first adhesive postage stamp, was issued in the United Kingdom? Pick up your Postage Stamp booklet and stop by the library each week during open hours to complete activities and challenges related to stamps from around the world. Collect new postage stamps each week to add to your collection. Log into Beanstack to track your progress.

Color Play
Learning about colors helps young children sort, organize, categorize, and compare objects. And color play is also really fun! top by the library to engage with hands-on color activities and watch your child bloom. For ages 2-5.

Chalk the Walk
Help celebrate summer by decorating the library's walkaways with bright colors and positive messages. Sidewalk chalk and cool treats will be provided. For ages 3-10.

Programs for young learners, Birth-4
Young learners will explore the world around them this summer through water science projects at Splashpad STEAM. Squish and mush your way to messy sensory playtime with edible goo and rainbow spaghetti. Come dressed for mess at Totally Untidy Tots. Summer Storytime has stories, games, and hands-on activities for children and their caregivers. Have a baby that is not quite ready for storytime? Join us at Book Babies, a program designed for our youngest library users (birth-2).

Summer Libratory Come learn about periodic and random motion through art at Art in Motion and the science of Chromatography at Summer Libratory. For ages 5-10.

Naturebrary
Join us for nature-themed storytime with STEAM activities, as we explore scientific concepts through fun, hands-on learning. For ages 3-8. Naturebrary programs offered at Farragut State Park, and the Harrison, Hayden, and Post Falls libraries.

Angry Birds, Ice Cream, and a battle in the stacks Master the art of the slingshot and aim for 3-star glory at our live-action Angry Birds event.
I scream! You scream! We all scream for ice cream! What are your favorite flavors? Do you prefer a bowl or cone? Join us at DIY Ice Cream and show off your ice cream making skills. A dinosaur mother has gone missing, leaving her three eggs behind. Solve the puzzles left behind by the paleontologist at our Escape Room: Jurassic. Using your hands and potter's tools, create a unique work of art with clay and water at our Pottery & Sculpture program.
