Hello, Fall!

We hope you and your family had a fun-filled summer and are looking forward to fall as much as we are at the Library.

Programs for children, teens and families resume Monday, September 9. A complete calendar of events can be found on the Programs & Events tab on our website.
 
We will be closed Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day. 
 
This month we are focusing on Back to School, with activities and resources for all ages.

Percy Jackson
In celebration of the upcoming release of the newest Percy Jackson book The Wrath of the Triple Goddess, join us to create your own shield, make your own camp half blood necklace, practice archery and try your hand at solving some clever riddles using your Percy Jackson knowledge.

2nd Harvest Food Distribution
Come by the Post Falls Library and join us for a drive-through food distribution sponsored by
2nd Harvest Inland Northwest. This drive-through event serves up to 250 families while supplies last. No personal information required.

Launch into Learning:
Play & Learn 
Playing is learning! Play is a great way to help develop and reinforce early literacy skills. This inclusive come-and-go program is designed to give caregivers and their children time to explore together. Toys, board books, and hands-on activities available each week.

Teen Hangout:
Dungeons & Dragons
D&D is a fun role-playing adventure game where players create characters and make decisions, as the group is guided through a "choose your own adventure" style story.
Join us to slay dragons, make friends, and step into the shoes of a fantasy character for the afternoon. Bring your own character or use one of our pre-made characters to get started!
Snacks will be provided. 
For ages 11-18.
