Spotlight on our Local Authors

All November we're celebrating our local authors!

Join us for our big event on November 22nd with more than 20 authors confirmed or come to one of the smaller single author events.  Maybe just try a book by a local author?  We have a lot of them on our shelves!

Highlights This Month

Local Author Celebration

Join us for a celebration of local authors!

Our keynote speaker will start us off at noon followed by panel discussions with various local authors on topics like writing fantasy and sci-fi, using real history in fiction, and other topics.  There will be live excerpt readings by the authors to entice and intrigue.  And through-out the day, there will be opportunities to talk to authors, buy their books, and get them signed!

Drop-in anytime or stay the entire day!
As the schedule and authors are confirmed you can find more information at this link.

Peter has repeatedly performed to sold-out crowds at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. His repertoire is familiar, thought-provoking, and highly entertaining.

Peter's interests outside of music include gardening, running, long-distance cycling, and fountain pens. An avid reader, he prefers the works of Cervantes, Proust, Faulkner, and Balzac.

Blackout Poetry

Join us for this limited series spanning into the new year as we learn about and make our very own blackout poetry. Blackout poetry is a form of found poetry created by erasing words from an existing text and framing the result on the same page as a poem. But it’s easier than you think!

By candlelight, we'll riffle through old books, magazines, and other found artifacts to find just the right starting place for a poem. And for those interested participants, we'll be assembling a blackout poetry exhibition — culminating in April for National Poetry Month!

Pizza will be provided!

Post Falls | November 19, 5:00pm - 6:30pm
