Summer Reading adventures continue...
 
If you haven't already, join us on Beanstack and/or pick up a playing card at your favorite library to compete in our annual Summer Reading Challenge.  Just by reading, attending programs, or participating in certain adventures you can earn up to 5 entries into a raffle for an Amazon Fire!

Learn about the history, flora, and fauna that call Farragut, Rathdrum Mountain and the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes home and join us for a community, all-ages hike. 
 
Please wear sensible shoes for uneven terrain, and bring a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen!

Come learn about Idaho's native birds and make your own mason jar bird feeder.  Because we have a limited amount of materials please call the Rathdrum Library at 208-687-1029 to register.

Adventures in Technology
 
Join us for a 3D printing or Virtual Reality adventure.  Learn how to design your own 3d prints in tinkercad, or try a VR headset and experience life in the International Space Station, swim with sharks, or visit far off places. Because headsets and laptops are limited in number, registration is preferred!

Adventures in Cooking
 
This program centers around the possibilities in your kitchen.  Each class focuses on recipes that extend the life of fresh food, reduce food waste, or use cheap ingredients (creative beans and rice anyone?).  Programs are limited to adults only because knives and hot things may be involved. And due to limited supplies registration is required.  Please contact the library to register.
