Financial Literacy Month

April is National Financial Month, and to celebrate here at the library we've designed several programs for adults to help build awareness of local resources, protect you from scams, work on careers and job skills to improve income, and learn more about end of life planning.  Check out some of the highlights below!

Learn about all the tools and resources the library provides regarding finances—ranging from financial assistance and education, to government benefits, loans, & tax aid.

Going to Seed

Drop by the library to attend a gardening program, check-out some gardening books, and pick-up a free sampling of seeds (provided by a grant through our Friends of the Library. Thank you Friends!).

Learn how to start your own bonsai from Bonsai Bob from Gray to Green Nursery.
 
Enjoy a showcase of bonsai trees and accessories while learning how to transform an unruly shrub into a work of art. One lucky attendee will win a donated bonsai tree at the end of class.
