Mental Wellness Month

January can be hard--the cheer of the holidays might leave you feeling a little depleted, the drag of winter darkness begins to weigh heavier, and the push to make life-changing resolutions can make you wonder if you aren't good enough just the way you are...

So, this month, the library is focusing on our mental health.  Join us at our various locations for a variety of programs designed to improve mental wellness and our awareness and knowledge of mental health issues.

Welcome to the Winter Reading Challenge!
Image reads: Winter Reading Challenge. January 1st - February 28th. Text is on a winter scene with a yet seen sledding on a book down a snowy hill and a second yeti holding a stack of books.
Are You Yeti to Read?

This winter we're inviting members of all ages to participate in our annual Winter Reading Challenge.  You can pick up a rack card at your favorite library, but to win the raffle you have to log in to Beanstack (a librarian can help you if you're not that tech savvy!).

For each challenge you complete you'll earn a raffle ticket (up to 10!) that you can then enter into your choice of prize: an Amazon Fire, a gift card to a local bookstore, or a cozy reading basket.
YOU choose which prize you want your tickets to go towards.

*Prizes provided through a grant from our Friends of the Library.  Thank you Friends!*

The Area Agency on Aging of North Idaho is a government agency providing invaluable services aimed at maximizing independence and quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and vulnerable adults 18 years and older.

We're excited to have them come to Pinehurst Library to talk about services, resources, and all the cool things they do!
