Andrew Robin's recent poetry collections are Stray Birds, and a chapbook, Small Pale Telegrams From The World. Under his former name, Andrew Michael Roberts, he also published the collections good beast and something has to happen next. Andrew is the recipient of the Iowa Poetry Prize and a Distinguished Teaching Award from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He lives with his wife Sarah on Lopez Island, where he works as a registered nurse and volunteers as an EMT.

How do three girls use their imagination and creativity to answer the challenges of World War II? Ellie dreams up their adventures; Agnes works out the details; Maggie leads the action. And it all begins with parking the headmistress' car on the walls of a foot bridge. The challenges they face take them from England's countryside to the Netherlands, and finally post D-Day France, weaving into one incredible conclusion. |

Meet Goldie: Library dog in training!Introducing the newest four-legged member of our team, Goldie! Goldie is a three-month old Australian Labradoodle puppy. She is a Library Dog in training (she's still learning her Library manners)who loves belly rubs and chew toys.
