Art of Crime Season 6 & 7 (French)

A hot-headed and uncultured cop, Captain Antoine Verlay gets assigned against his will to the Central Office for the Fight against Trafficking in Cultural Goods and teams up with wildly imaginative art historian Florence Chassagne to solve art-related murder cases. Good thing they have Florence's art historian father in the wings for consultation. Through their intriguing investigations they delve into the history of great artists and follow in the footsteps of renowned masters such as Claude Monet, Jerome Bosch, Gustave Courbet, Théodore Géricault, Edgar Degas, Vincent Van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Botticelli to name a few… The cases lead them through the spectacular cultural landscape of Paris: the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay, the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville, the Paris Catacombs, the Place Vendôme, Jacquemart-André Museum, Versailles and many more emblematic locations. The unlikely duo learns that the key to understanding the crimes lies in the works of art themselves. They also learn they can no longer do without each other... to solve the investigations. But to consider that they're made for each other seems unthinkable most of the time.
