Help prevent the summer slide with our summer reading program! This year’s theme is Plant a Seed, Read! Children ages 3-17 are encouraged to register beginning June 15. They will receive a reading log and instructions, plus a goody bag for younger children. Children will earn small prizes and votes for favorite zoo animal as they progress through the log. Upon finishing their log, children will receive a raffle ticket for a fun prize, a certificate of completion, and a coupon for a free Palagis lemonade and new book at our summer reading wrap-up event on August 8. Prizes this year include a microscope kit, passes to Launch, Treetop Adventures, Showcase Cinemas, and Level 99, plus gift cards to Dairy Queen and An Unlikely Story. Registration ends July 31, and log redemption ends August 8. Find more information and a list of our donors on our web site. Join us for a special summer storytime about the beach on June 18 at 10am. Hear stories, sing songs, get up and move, and then do a sticker craft in this program great for ages 0-7.
