This Month @ The Library
November  2023
Message from the Director
Library Hours Thanksgiving Week:
Wednesday Closing at 1:00PM
Thursday and Friday Closed
Saturday Open 9:30-5:00
The Library is sad to announce the retirement of Ellen Casaccio, our Circulation Coordinator. Ellen was first hired as a part-time Library Assistant in 2003 and then took on the full-time position of Circulation Coordinator in 2007. Ellen’s strong work ethic and dedication to the Library was instrumental this past year during our staffing crisis. Although we will miss her greatly, Ellen is looking forward to having time to read!

Library Director
Young Adult & Children's Programs
Story times continue Thursdays at 10 am (with the exception of Thanksgiving day) in the month of November. Story times are best for children ages 1-6 with a caregiver. We will hear stories, sing songs, use finger play and movement, and then finish with a simple craft! There will be NO Monday story times this month. We will have an easy activity, like Legos or Magna Tiles, on the Children's Room table on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 am instead.

STEAM cart days: Drop in any time Tuesdays between 10 am and 6 pm or between 10 am and 4:00 pm on Saturdays for a new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activity! Some of our activities include Snap Circuits (for children ages 5 and up with an adult), Magna Tiles, Keva Planks, Play-doh, Marble Run, Crafts, Pattern Play, and Legos! Find each day's activity on our website.

Chess club will continue to meet on the first and third Thursday of the month, November 2 and November 16, from 6 pm to 7 pm.  Children ages 6+ and teens or families with a basic knowledge of the game are welcome to stop by the Children's Room and play. Teen volunteers will be on hand to assist with questions, or play if needed.
