Law Day 2022 is May 1st
The 2022 Law Day theme
Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change
reminds all of us that the Constitution is a dynamic document, as it
not only outlines a blueprint for government, but also delegates
power, articulates rights, and offers mechanisms for change.

There are a variety of materials available to post and/or share in your library!
Take a look at the corresponding teaching guide with graphic organizers, audio podcasts, related videos and a Spanish translation version available online at https://nynpa.com/nie/lawday.html

This project was created by the New York Newspapers Foundation's News Media Literacy/Newspaper In Education program and the series of videos was generously funded by the New York Bar Foundation.

OverDrive/Libby App changes
Overdrive has removed the OverDrive app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store. New users who search for Libby, OverDrive, or other related keywords in the app stores will find only Libby. Existing OverDrive app users are not affected by this change & may continue borrowing and downloading content in the OverDrive app. In addition, if an OverDrive app user needs to reinstall the app, they can do so from their app store. See https://resources.overdrive.com/libby/

 Gardiner Library
Native Plant Sale
Saturday, May 21, 12 - 4 PM

The Gardiner Library and the Wallkill Valley Pollinator Pathway are hosting a native plant sale to complement the library’s new pollinator garden.
The small plants, called landscape plugs, are much less expensive than container plants and an excellent way to keep costs down while trying out
some new plants.
Master gardeners will be available to answer questions. Come to their
first sale (cash and check only)
and start planting!
