Craft Kits! The Young Adult Department will start distributing Craft Kits on July 8th. The kits will contain instructions and materials needed to create the craft. Live two-hour online trainings allow participants to interact with an instructor while learning to recognize, respond to, and reverse a suspected overdose using naloxone. Participants also learn how to obtain free or low-cost naloxone without a prescription at a local participating pharmacy using their medical prescription insurance in conjunction with the NYS Naloxone Co-Payment Assistance Program (N-CAP), or by contacting a local registered Opioid Overdose Prevention Program. Find registration information here. Events are offered multiple times per week on a variety of schedules and are open to anyone. Also available for private groups of 20 or more.
