Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd. If you are concerned about voting that day in regards to COVID-19, work schedule, or other issues, there are two other ways to cast your vote.
|
|
Voting via Absentee Ballot Governor Cuomo signed legislation broadening the meaning of “Temporary illness” on Absentee Ballots to include risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 (you do not have to have COVID-19, but only be concerned for your risk of catching it). You can request an Absentee Ballot by submitting an Absentee Ballot Application, which you can get at the library Reference Desk or download here: English/español. On the application, check “Temporary Illness or Physical Disability” as the reason in box 1. For more information on absentee voting, click here.
