Sustained White Antiracism: What does it mean to “do the work”? Tuesday, March 9 @ 6:30 PM In last month's forum we examined clear ways to engage in anti-racist education and activism. This talk explores how we stay the course in our commitment to racial justice. Educator and scholar Kate Slater will talk about how folks (especially white-identified folks) can create structures and systems of accountability to consistently deepen and broaden their anti-racist work… and more importantly, how they stay committed for the long haul. Dr. Kate Slater is a White anti-racist educator and scholar and the creator of the Anti-Racist Roadmap. She is the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Brandeis University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. To learn more about Kate’s work, visit her website at kateaslater.com.

The pace is slow, nature is close, the beauty is breathtaking and the people are authentic.” Kathryn Olmstead is a former Journalism faculty member with the University of Maine.
