Hello South Country Community, As usual, we have plenty of great services and activities for you below, so don't miss them! We will close at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, remain closed for Thanksgiving, and reopen at 9:30 AM on Friday, November 27. HOLIDAY MEDIA SALE Starting on Monday, November 23
|
Come browse our selection of gently used media: DVDs, CDs, & Cookbooks. Each item costs $1, or 5 items for $3, or 10 items for $5.

Our Give or Take Food Pantry is located in the lobby, and available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.
|
|
|
We will continue to have a bin in the lobby where non-perishable food donations can be dropped off to help keep the pantry stocked. Thank you for your generous donations!

Annual Winter Warmth Collection Now through December 14
|
|
|
Please donate new socks, slippers, hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens in any size to the Children's Department. The Bellport Hagerman East Patchogue Alliance will distribute them to local families in need.

The Health & Welfare Council of Long Island is available to help you sign up for health insurance. Call (516) 505-4426 to make an appointment. |

PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES The Children's Department is open for browsing. There are no toys or games. Two internet/typing computers are available for kids to use.

Turkey in Disguise Contest Get a paper turkey from us, and disguise it to save it from becoming dinner! (you'll also be entered into our raffle) Submissions accepted until Wednesday, November 25.

Music Kits Tuesday, November 17 For newborns to 3-year-olds. Register online, in-person, or by phone. Get a shaker egg, jingle bell bracelet, play scarf, and rhyme sheet for music and movement activities at home. While supplies last.

Elf on the Shelf Contest Starting Friday, November 27 Twinkle the Elf returns to the Children's Department after Thanksgiving!

If your child can find Twinkle, tell us at the Children's Desk and your child will be entered in our raffle. One entry per child per day. Winner will be announced in early January.
