Hello South Country Community, Adults, here's the announcement you've been waiting for: game clubs and exercise programs will return to the library, in our downstairs community room! Teens and children, there are still crafts available. Sign up to frame some summer memories, or start the school year in style with a DIY-decorated pencil case for kids, and custom-made stationary for teens. Each game is available to the first twenty participants, and closes at 9:00 PM on the last day.

Our Give or Take Food Pantry is located in the lobby, and available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.
|
|
|
We have a bin in the lobby where you can donate non-perishable food to help keep the pantry stocked. Thank you for your generosity!

The Library has a Notary Public Call for our notary's availability: 631-286-0818 Fee: $2.00 per notarized signature

South Country Library patrons may renew their card or apply for a new one online. Images of photo ID & address verification are required.

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
|
|
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
|
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|
|
Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.

COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment Assistance for Seniors age 60+. Call Reference for assistance 631-286-0818 ext. 1. We cannot guarantee we'll be able to get you an appointment. Vaccinations do not take place at the library. South Country Library cardholders only.

Are you homebound? You can get a COVID-19 Vaccine at home. If you wish to receive the J&J vaccine, call 311. The Suffolk Dept. of Health Services will send a nurse to your home to answer questions and administer the vaccine. Click for more info.
