Hello South Country Community,
 
Families with Children, August is almost over! Check the August registration calendar for any remaining spots for in-person programs or craft kits. Registration for September in-person programs opens on Thursday, September first.
 
Adults, this evening is our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Self-Defense class. Don't be shy -- come learn the fundamentals. Plus, hurricane season is upon us. Are you prepared?
 
Teens, check out our September calendar to see what we have planned for you next month, including crafts, movies, and more!
 
The library will be closed on Monday, September 5, for Labor Day. On Sunday, September 11, the library re-opens for Sunday hours, 12:00 - 4:00 PM.

Supplies are low in our Give or Take Food Pantry
 
We have a bin in the lobby where we will gratefully accept all donations of non-perishable food to help re-stock the pantry. Thank you for your generosity!
Our Give or Take Food Pantry is located in the lobby, and available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.

Our patrons may choose up to three packets per visit from a variety of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. Learn more here.
 
The Library has a Notary Public
Available Tuesdays through Thursdays by appointment.

Fee: $2.00 per notarized signature
 
 
Renew or Apply for a New Library Card on Our Website
South Country Library patrons may renew their card or apply for a new one online. Images of photo ID & address verification are required. Or visit our Patron Services desk at the front of the library for the same service.
Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
Both above services provide live virtual assistance
every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.

Vaccines are available for everyone age 6 months and older at vaccination clinics around the county and at home for people confined to their homes.
