SUMMER HOURS

Please be advised that our summer hours begin Saturday, May 30th. On Saturdays, the library will be open from 9am-2pm.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE

The library will be closed on Friday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth.

THE BOOKMOBILES ARE BACK!

Find us around town at parks and events and stop by to say hello! The eBike Bookmobiles are ridden by your friendly library staff. You can checkout books and learn about the array of library programs and services we offer.

Join us for a screening of the 1996 film That Thing You Do!, starring Tom Hanks, Steve Zahn, and Liv Tyler. A local Pennsylvania band scores a one-hit wonder in 1964 and rides the star-making machinery as long as they can, with lots of help from their manager.

at Eagle Square

Join us at Eagle Square for Kier Byrnes and the Kettle Burners! They are a spirited country band that merges the sounds of traditional country music with the enchanting melodies of Irish folk. Raising Cane's Chicken will bring the lemonade and we'll bring the library giveaways!

    Harry "Bucky" Lew: Concord's Role in the Earliest Integration of

Pro Sports

Harry “Bucky” Lew leapt over pro basketball’s color wall in 1902 and continued to integrate every single role in the game over the next 25 years. He was the first Black player, coach, manager, referee, and franchise owner in otherwise white leagues.
